In this digital era, all of us have made the Internet a part of our lives. We use the internet from waking up in the morning to sleeping at night. We have put all our personal details such as photo, mobile number, Aadhaar number etc. on the Internet. But did you ever think that these personal details could be misused by hackers. Yes you can be hacked.So I am going to tell you 5 steps that you can follow to avoid being hacked

1.USE DIFFERENT AND STRONG PASSWORDS

Most of us use the same password for every website. But you should use strong and different passwords for each website, because if one of your website's password gets hacked, then all other websites's passwords will also be hacked.You can use alphanumeric characters to make your passwords stronger. You can use symbols, numbers, letters in your passwords so that hackers can not hack your password. 

2. BROWSE WEBSITES THAT USES HTTPS

HTTPS encrypts the traffic between your browser and the server to prevent eavesdropping on your web requests and responses.Hence,hackers can,t websites that uses https This is often referred to as confidentiality. So,by using https websites you canm aavoid you to being hacked.

3. DON'T SHARE BANKING DETAILS

 If anyone whom you don't know ask you for your banking details do not share. If you do so your accounts can be hacked and you may suffer a big loss. You should not do banking transaction through unverified websites or apps.

4.DO NOT CLICK OR OPEN MALICIOUS LINKS

You should not click or open malicious links.Let's take an example, if you got a message that is saying you have won Rs.10000.To claim your reward click on the link.And many of you click on such messages and you get nothing but the person who sends you that message have got your personal details. So, never click on such misleading links.

5.DO NOT SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION

 Many of us give real personal details such as Name, Mobile Number, Aadhar Card Number, Photo, Address and many more on the social media. Such details can be used by hackers for wrong purpose. You should share your personal information to safe sites and known persons. So,if you are such details private it immediately otherwise anyone can hack you.
